Apple Honey and Oatmeal Facial Mask

Apple is full of fruit enzymes which gently exfoliate, removing dead skin cells. Honey destroys the bacteria harbouring in the skins pores. Oatmeal gently absorbs excess oil on the skin.
Ingredients: ½ boiled apple; one teaspoon of honey; 2 teaspoons of finely ground oatmeal.
Here’s what you do: Chop up half an apple and boil it until soft. Cool in the fridge for 15 minutes and remove peel. Grind up oatmeal (breakfast porridge oats are fine) in a processor, coffee grinder or blender. Add apple, oatmeal and honey and blend together.
My advice would be to apply this to the face while you’re in the bath (which also means you’ll spend at least 15 minutes soaking in the bath)! Wash off after 15 minutes. Use once a week unless you have oily or combination skin, when twice a week would be beneficial.
